Unlock Your Drying Potential.
Training & Summit
Drying Know-How That Stays With You.
Structured learning, expert seminars and the first ecodry Drying Summit – competence that grows inside your team. Not ours. From structured learning paths to the industry event in Bocholt.
The First Independent
Industry Gathering for Drying Technology.
Not a trade-show conversation. Not a glossy event. Two days among people who don’t just operate industrial drying processes – they want to understand them. Moderated by a team that lives in the plant, not in a conference room. The first edition is deliberately small: max. 30 attendees, handpicked, by invitation.

After the Summit
You walk back into your plant – and for the first time, you really see it.
That’s the difference between „attended a course” and „understood the plant”.
- You understand why your drying process does what it does. No more „somehow too hot" – but where, why and with which lever.
- You face the equipment OEM as an equal. No gut feeling. Just numbers that hold up.
- You see the silent losses your team has been walking past for years – and you know which ones lift in weeks, which ones lift in months.
- You decide faster. Because you no longer guess. You calculate.
- You have a network of people who speak your language – and who aren't trying to sell, but to understand.
This is not a conference promise. It's the minimum you should take home from these two days.
Who the Summit Is For
- Process technicians – who want to go deeper into drying processes
- Process engineers – who want to improve their lines measurably
- Commissioning engineers – who want new systems running faster
- Lead fitters – who want to stay in control and anticipate issues
- Plant operators – responsible for output & quality
What You Take Home
- Deeper understanding of dryers and drying technology
- Concrete approaches to increase quality and output
- Methods to reduce energy consumption sustainably
- Safety know-how that protects against outages and incidents
- Peer exchange with colleagues from your industry – at eye level

Bernd Theling
Managing Director · Host
Keynote: "Why drying is often still a black box – and what we do about it."
Request an Invitation
We are keeping the first edition of the ecodry Drying Summit deliberately small and personal — a working day among experts, not a trade-show crowd. If you would like to be part of it, send us a short note about yourself and your work. We will get back to you personally.

ecodry Academy
From Operator to Expert. Structured. Certified. Measurable.
The ecodry Academy is the logical extension of our conviction: knowledge shared is knowledge multiplied. Three learning paths building on each other take your team from fundamentals to independent optimization.
Drying Fundamentals
The essentials every operator and engineer should know. Heat transfer, airflow, common drying defects and their root causes. For teams that want to build a solid foundation.
- Thermodynamics of drying
- Airflow & nozzle systems
- Defect recognition & troubleshooting
- Energy efficiency – fundamentals
Process Optimization
For experienced engineers who want to push past "good enough". Deep insights into drying kinetics, parameter optimization, data-driven decisions and simulation-supported analysis.
- Advanced drying kinetics
- Parameter optimization strategies
- Simulation & digital modeling
- Data-based decision frameworks
Autonomous Optimization
The ultimate goal: your team runs optimization projects on its own. This module covers project methodology, specification writing, vendor evaluation and cross-functional leadership.
- Internal audit methodology
- Dryer specification & vendor management
- Cross-functional project leadership
- Continuous improvement systems
The Business Case
Training Pays Off. Fast.
Every percentage point of drying efficiency your team gains translates directly into lower energy cost, higher throughput and fewer quality issues.
Calculate, Don't Guess
You Learn on the Real Tool.
In the Advanced and Expert modules you work with our own simulation software. Roller temperature profiles, nozzle design, heat and mass transfer – computed live against your process.
At the end, you not only understand what happens inside your line, you understand why. And you can quantify it yourself.
Hands-On Module
In-house Training
Training Where Your Equipment Lives.
The strongest form of learning happens on your own system. We come to you – with a training concept tailored to your line, your products and the knowledge level of your team.
On-Site at Your Plant
Training happens directly at your line. Real machines, real parameters, real issues – maximum transfer into day-to-day work.
Remote Sessions
Theory modules and coaching via video. Ideal for international teams or whenever travel isn’t practical.
Corporate Rollout
Tailored multi-site programs for companies that want to standardize drying competence across locations.
Frequently Asked
Good to Know
When exactly does the Drying Summit 2026 take place?
The Summit takes place on 23–24 September 2026 at the Hotelresidenz in Bocholt. We will announce the full agenda and attendance fee shortly. To stay on the list, just send us a short email – we will inform you as soon as everything is set.
How do I register?
Registration is informal, via email to info@ecodry-converting.com. You can reach out any time – we will add you to the attendee list and send all details as soon as they are confirmed.
Who is the Summit for?
For everyone responsible for industrial drying processes: process technicians, process engineers, commissioning engineers, lead fitters and plant operators. A basic technical understanding is required – no academic background needed.
Can I book in-house training without attending the Summit?
Of course. Summit, Academy and in-house trainings are independent formats. Many clients start with in-house training on their own line and later use the Summit to deepen their know-how and exchange with the industry.
Are there certificates?
Yes. All Academy modules conclude with a participation or expert certificate. Summit attendees receive an official confirmation of participation for their personal development records.
Are the trainings available in English?
Our Academy modules and in-house trainings are available in either German or English. The Drying Summit 2026 will be held in German – international guests are of course warmly welcome.
